A one-of-a-kind handwoven wool bag, made by hand from fiber to finished piece here on my small Maine farm.
The bag is woven in natural shades of cream, brown and charcoal, allowing the character and texture of the wool to become part of the design. A dark handwoven center panel, contrasting woven details and intentionally exposed wool fringe give it a wonderfully earthy, primitive feel.
Using traditional Loom weaving technique
the relaxed hobo shape is finished with a genuine leather shoulder strap and a full fabric lining with an interior pocket. The soft construction lets the bag settle naturally when carried while still giving you plenty of usable room inside.
This isn't commercially produced fabric made to look handwoven. The wool and irregularities in the weaving are part of the piece—little changes in texture, thickness and color that make this bag completely individual.
