Bold texture and beautiful natural fibers make this handwoven skinny scarf something completely different from a mass-produced scarf.
I wove it by hand using a mix of soft Angora, Merino wool and Border Leicester lambswool, creating a graphic blocked pattern in purple, deep brown-black and creamy white. The different fibers give the surface wonderful variation—soft fuzzy Angora against the more defined wool yarns.
The narrow width makes it easy to wear loosely, wrap around the neck, or simply let the long ends hang. Hand-twisted fringe finishes both ends.
This is a one-of-a-kind handwoven piece. The slight variations in the handspun yarn and weaving are part of its character.
