This is a one-of-a-kind artisan satchel, built entirely by hand using traditional slow-craft methods.
The body of the bag is constructed from full-grain leather and fully lined in leather for strength, structure, and long-term durability. The front panel features a handwoven textile made from handspun wool raised here in Maine on my small homestead. it was woven on a floor loom and integrated as a visual signature accent.
Every seam in this bag is hand-stitched.
No machines. No mass production. No factory shortcuts.
The result is a rugged yet refined crossbody satchel designed for everyday carry, journaling, travel, field use, or as a small laptop bag. The leather base protects the woven panel from wear, while the rolled leather top edge and reinforced seams ensure the bag will age beautifully with use. This bag will last several lifetimes as good hand construction does.
This bag was made slowly, start to finish, from processing raw fiber from my sheep, spinning on a traditional wheel and weaving the wool to cutting, stitching, and finishing the leather.
